Flex and Your Privacy

Flex has always taken the security of your personal data very seriously. What does this mean though? It means that from your first contact with us, though all the transactions that occur as a result of our day-to-day business together, your personal data is being actively protected from being disclosed. We will not (for obvious reasons) detail all the steps we take to protect your data here. Rest assured though, these at least comply with best practice.

Personal Data

So, what do we mean by personal data? It’s the kind of information that you would find on a typical business card. So: Your Name, Your Company Name, Address Details, Phone Numbers and Email Addresses. From the perspective of the various data protection laws and “GDPR”, it is defined as “Does the data ‘relate to’ the identifiable living individual, whether in personal or family life, business or profession?” Which means; any data at all that can be associated with you; such as your NI or Bank Account details.

Flex’s approach to this is: if we don’t need it, we don’t ask for it. While we’re at it, nor do we or will we ever, sell or share your data with third-party companies for financial gain.

Mailing Lists

Today more than ever, we are bombarded with “Special Products”, “Facts” and “Information” at every turn purporting to transform our lives or the products and services we use. Flex does not do this.
